WEB SITE USE INFORMATION

Tracking Technology

Readers Theater All Year™ logs IP addresses (a unique number assigned to every connection to the Internet) in order to improve security, analyze trends and administer the Site. We may track your movement within the Site, the pages from which you were referred, access times and browser types. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally. To gauge the effectiveness of our Site, we collect some generic information about our Members and other users. Our web servers automatically recognize a Member’s or user's domain name, the web page from which a Member or other user enters our Site, which pages a Member or user visits on our Site, and how much time a Member or user spends on each page. We may use anonymous tracking technologies to collect, store and sometimes track information for statistical purposes and to improve the products and services we provide. We aggregate this information and use it to evaluate and improve our Site. We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third party sources for instance to verify your address or update your information and to create a "profile" of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the Site for you. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this Site. We use session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser's "help" file. Persistent cookies are used to differentiate Members from non-Members, to customize the content of certain sections of the website, and enable us to track and target the interests of our Members and other users to enhance the experience on our Site. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Site, but your ability to use some areas of our Site may be limited. If we in the future were to accept advertising on any portion of our website, then some of our advertisers may use cookies on our Site. We would have no access to or control over these cookies. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by this site only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Third Party Links

We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web Site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by our Site.

User Requests for Third Party Service Provider Information

From time to time we may offer through our Site opportunities for Members or other users to request from third party service providers information about the third party’s products or services. In order to facilitate the Member’s or user’s request for information regarding a third partys services, we may ask that the Member or user provide personally identifiable information such as the Member’s or users name, address, e-mail address and/or telephone number before receiving the third party service provider information. We collect this information only through Site pages that have an expressly stated purpose of permitting the Member or user to request the third party service provider’s information or brochures, and we clearly state on the relevant page of the Site that the Members or users information will be forwarded to the third party service provider. We do not put this collected name, address or telephone information to use ourselves, and we do not share this information with any third party other than the third party disclosed on the page.

How Do We Use the Information You Provide to Us?

If you are a registered Member, we use your personal information to deliver services and products that you request or purchase. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order for services or products only to complete that order, issue invoices, administer accounts and collect and process payments.  We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. As a general practice, Readers Theater All Year™ does not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about its Members to any third parties. The following describes some of the ways that a Member’s or other users personally identifiable information may be disclosed:

We use the information you provide about someone else only to deliver the requested products and services and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We may use your personal information to alert you to Site updates, new products and services available on the Site, special offers, and to send you e-newsletters.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Site and to share with advertisers, insurance companies and other third parties. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our Site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

We may use your personal information internally to audit compliance with our policies and contractual obligations.
We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, sending postal mail and processing event registration. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Readers Theater All Year, LLC, may disclose your personal information: (a) when we believe, in good faith, that such disclosure is required by law; (b) in response to compulsory legal process, including subpoenas and court orders; (c) to bring legal or governmental administrative action against any person who has breached or threatened to breach a contractual or other legal obligation to Readers Theater All Year, LLC, or has infringed or infringe any intellectual property rights of Readers Theater All Year, LLC; (d) to Readers Theater All Year, LLC and other third parties against error, negligence, breach of contract, fraud, theft and other illegal activities; (e) to otherwise protect and defend the rights or property of Readers Theater All Year, LLC and its affiliates; or (f) to act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of our employees, Members and other users of Readers Theater All Year, LLC, products or services, or members of the public. We will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, or the delivery of a service or product is delayed we might send you an email, or if there is some service issue with something you might have ordered. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. However, if you do not wish to receive these communications, you have the option to deactivate your membership by sending a request to RTAllYear@gmail.com.com.

If Readers Theater All Year, LLC were to be sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, the membership database of Readers Theater All Year could, in whole or in part, be sold as part of that transaction. In such transactions, personal information will be subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy in effect when the information was obtained. In the event Readers Theater All Year, LLC goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Readers Theater All Year, LLC, or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this Site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

BY SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO US, AND/OR BY USING OUR SITE, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW.

Praise from Teachers

...Keep doing what you are doing.  There are not enough quality scripts available for children and teens.  So many are inappropriate from a parent's perspective.  As a teacher I want to also build character and integrity while I teach a subject.  Why can't drama build up, inspire and be thought provoking?...Anyway, keep doing what you're doing...we need all the help we can get!
Jen H., Drama teacher

> ...I have been teaching for 35 years. RT has been part of my education journey for the majority of that time. Initially my experience with it was as a performance genre in the Drama Curriculum. Now I use it across the curriculum - a wonderful high motivation strategy in the language program - particularly reading - and so much more as you would know. I was drawn to your 'community' by the idea of leadership... I think what you're doing is wonderful..."
Graham B. Former primary teacher (now a Visual Art and Drama specialist)

Readers Theater All Year is the most comprehensive collection of Readers Theater scripts and resources I have found on the internet!...Thank you Carol for your leadership and vision and for making Readers Theater so accessible for teachers and parents.
Daniel Fiore, Elementary teacher/author What They Have Taught Me

I found the free readers theater online scripts, teaching tips, and curriculum teleseminars at Readers Theater All Year very inspirational to me. I used the Twelve Days of Christmas...Vacation script in my ESOL classes before Christmas break and my students all enjoyed it..
Lily T. Teacher (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

"> ..We did Squanto's Squash for the family on Thanksgiving and [my sons] participated and loved it. I am so excited about making this a major part of homeschooling. What a great way to learn!
Bethany P. Homeschooling Mom

> ...re: our script "The Earth Day Hen and Friends" I've used this! The kids love it. Thank you for sharing...It's just right for all levels in the class...Your free scripts are wonderful!...They learn so much from drama and reader's theatre...I see the shy ones gain confidence as they read. Fluency and prosody increases with reader's theatre...
Angela D., 3rd grade teacher
