History Scripts, Grades 6—8+

Make history come alive for your students with Readers Theater scripts.  Choose fiction or non-fiction trustworthy scripts from our growing buffet for teachers. Many of our scripts use primary source materials referenced in the annotated curriculum links.  Most of the historical scripts are currently related to the United States since that's where most of our paying members reside.  (Our members outside of the U.S. have not requested scripts related to their nations...yet!  :)  )  If you're a member of our Script Buffet Club you may suggest future script ideas.

NOTE:  For more historical scripts see our Biographies and Patriotic sections.

Click on a Readers Theater script title below to read an excerpt from the script and to access the printable PDF (complete with annotated curriculum links for easy lesson plans).

IMPORTANT:  Most of our scripts are abailable to our paying Script Buffet Club members only.  Each one pays a little and reaps a lot.  :)
